In the night to Saturday there was a bad attack. Russian drones hit a warehouse in the village Myla. The village is in the district Bucha near Kyiv.
In the warehouse was probably ammunition. There was a big fire and many explosions. At least 37 people died in the attack.
More than 40 persons were injured. Among the dead is also an important village boss. He wanted to save people from danger.
Houses nearby were badly damaged. Also a home for old people broke. More than 380 people had to leave their homes.
The police in Ukraine now investigates the incident closely. There are rules for storing ammunition. Weapons must not lie directly next to houses.
President Selenskyj says: That was a big mistake. He speaks of carelessness. Also Ukraine attacked targets in Russia.
In the Russian city Rostov 7 people were injured. Drone parts hit residential blocks there. Both countries attack each other again and again for weeks.
