The video app TikTok pays much money in the USA. It is 400 million dollars. The firm Byte-Dance belongs to TikTok. Both firms end a dispute with the US government.
The government sues TikTok in the year 2024. TikTok breaks laws for data protection. Kids under 13 years use the app. TikTok collects their private info. But the parents know nothing about it.
TikTok must change rules now. The app checks the age much stricter. Parents get more control. TikTok gives no blame. A part of the fine is paid at once.
