Ed Sheeran is a famous singer. He makes a big tour in the USA. The rapper Macklemore is his opening act. Macklemore shouts at a concert: Free Palestine. This means freedom for Palestine.
The tour boss throws Macklemore out. Owners of stadiums do not want him. Ed Sheeran says: This is not my choice. The boss decides alone. Ed Sheeran wants concerts without politics.
Now many people protest. 4 other bands leave the tour. They do this out of solidarity with Macklemore. These artists are Aaron Rowe and Finneas O'Connell. The bands Beoga and Lukas Graham also stop.
The artists say: Musicians must say their opinion. Nobody stops them. Especially not when people suffer. Ed Sheeran is sad about the trouble. He says: I am shocked by the war in the Near East.
