The 'Deutsche Fulliga' (DFL) has set a new date for the 'Bundesliga' match between 'Hamburger SV' and the current champion, 'Bayer Leverkusen'. The game, originally scheduled for the last match day, had to be called off because of severe storms and the resulting safety risks at the 'Volksparkstadion'.
As the 'DFL' announced on Friday, the match will now take place on Wednesday, March 4th. The game will kick off at the usual 'Champions League' time of 9:00 PM. This date was chosen because both teams have tight schedules in February due to commitments in the 'DFB-Pokal' and the European 'K igs klasse' (top tier).
If the match has to be canceled again due to weather on that evening, the league has kept an alternative date open for the following week. According to statements from 'Hamburger SV', the tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new date at the 'Volksparkstadion'.
