The Biathlon season is over now. The last race for women was on Sunday in Oslo. It was a mass start race. The race was over 12.5 kilometers. The German athlete Janina Hettich-Walz was very good for a long time. She was in 3rd place until the last shooting. Then she made 2 mistakes while shooting. In the end, she crossed the finish line in 10th place.
Lisa Vittozzi from Italy won the race. She made only one mistake while shooting. Hanna berg from Sweden took second place. Tereza Vobornikova from Czech Republic finished third. The German women had no win this winter in the World Cup. They only reached the podium 3 times in total.
Other German racers also took part. Vanessa Voigt got 12th place. The young Julia Tannheimer finished 14th in this race. Selina Grotian finished in 24th place. The season 2025/2026 was hard for the German women. It was a long winter with many competitions.
