A serious accident happened in Engelberg. The town is in Switzerland. A gondola from the mountain lift fell down. This happened in the Titlis ski area.
The gondola fell onto the ground. There was at least one person inside the gondola. That person suffered bad injuries. Rescue workers came with helicopters.
There was very strong wind that day. The wind gusts were up to 100 kilometers per hour fast. A ski race was stopped before because of the storm. Experts are checking the reason for the crash now.
