There was a fire on New Year's Eve. The place is called Crans-Montana. The fire was in the bar 'Le Constellation'. 41 people died in the fire. More than 100 people are hurt.
Four months later, 38 victims are still in the hospital. The wounds are very bad. Many patients were in other countries. Now all patients from Switzerland are back home.
The police look for the guilty person. They ask a politician many questions for 12 hours. His name is Patrick Clivaz. He is responsible for safety. The lawyers of the victims are angry at him.
Patrick Clivaz says: I knew nothing about mistakes. The last check in the bar was in 2019. Every year there must be a check. There were too few workers for the checks.
