Many people in Germany get no holiday money. Only 44 in 100 people in companies get this money. A new study shows this. This study is from the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung.
A tariff-contract is important for the money. With a contract, 73 people in 100 get money. Without a contract, only 35 people in 100 get it. The size of the company is also important.
Men get more often holiday money than women. In West-Germany, more people get this money. In East-Germany, fewer people get it. The amount of money is different. Some people get only 186 Euro.
In the wood-industry, people get almost 3000 Euro. In farming, the money is often low. In the public-service, people get no extra holiday money. They get it with the Christmas-money.
