Many people criticize this plan. Especially the UEFA is against it. The UEFA is the association for football in Europe. Also the boss from the German football association says: The football must not only exist for money. Critics have fear of too many games. They believe the fans lose the fun in football. Some people even say that Infantino wants to bribe the associations with money. The associations in Europe meet today for an important meeting.
But there are also other opinions. The association from Africa finds the idea good. Also an association from Czechia sees advantages. An important man for the plan is Joshua Kushner. He is a rich investor from the USA. He belongs to the family of Donald Trump. The FIFA says: All 211 member associations may decide. It is a democratic process. The associations have time until the 19th of September. Then they must say if they like the plan.
