Many people are missing. They are maybe under the broken houses. The United Nations make guesses. Maybe 50.000 people are missing. Other experts think: 10.000 people are missing. The number of dead can still grow. Helpers look for the people.
It is very bad in the state La Guaira. 12 journalists died there. Journalists tell news for papers or television. They wanted to write about the earth-quakes. Now their friends cry for them. The earth-quakes happened very fast. Only 39 seconds were between the shakes. The strength was very high.
