The Parliament agrees to the new plan. The Bundes-Rat also agrees. The new plan for health starts now. The government wants to save much money. The goal is simple. The costs for the health insurance stay low.
The plan saves 19 billion Euro. Many areas lose money. Doctors and hospitals have less money. Chemists and firms for drugs pay too. There are strict limits for all costs.
Things change for the people. Patients pay more for drugs. Some medical treatments cost more money. Partners do not get free insurance often. They must pay for the insurance now.
Nina Warken defends the new plan. She is the minister for health. She says: The health insurance has little money. This law helps the health system. It keeps the money safe.
There is also a new law for heat. You can buy heaters with gas or oil. But they must use clean energy soon. From the year 2045, heaters must not make bad gas.
