No more Nordic Combined at the Olympics
101
The IOC makes a big choice. The Olympic Games 2030 exclude Nordic Combined. The Games happen in the French Alps. This sport was part of the Games for 100 years.
Sport leaders call this a bad message. Many athletes feel sad and let down. The IOC says: Not enough people like this sport. Also, very few countries take part in the sport.
Only men did the sport in the past. The IOC wants equal rights for women and men. New sports join the Games now. These are Freeride and Synchronized Skating. Maybe Nordic Combined returns in the year 2034.
