The USA wants to end the time change. The House of Representatives voted for this. 308 politicians voted yes. 117 politicians voted no.
Now the Senate must agree. The Senate is part of the parliament. President Donald Trump likes the plan. He wants summer time all year.
There was a test in the past. This was in 1974 and 1975. People did not like the test. The government stopped the test.
Some places in the USA do not change time. Arizona and Hawaii do not change clocks. In Puerto Rico the time stays the same.
The new law has a special rule. Some states can choose their own time. They can keep the old time.
Europe also talks about the time. Many people want no time change. 4 out of 5 people in Austria dislike it.
Most Austrians want summer time. But the governments in Europe have no plan. Nothing changes there for now.
