There was a big drama in the city Ceuta. Ceuta belongs to Spain. But it is in North Africa. About 60000 people came there from Marokko. Many people swam through the sea. At least 67 people died. Almost all people are back in Marokko now.
Spain built a wall in the sea now. This wall is 500 meters long. It stops new people. Soldiers and police watch the beach now. There were fights with the police in the city Melilla. People threw stones at the police there.
There is much fight in the EU now. Italy started border checks to Spain again. Italy wants that Spain leaves the Schengen-Raum. Also 22 other countries want a quick meeting. They say: Spain does not protect the borders well. The EU countries want to talk about the problem together.
