Flood in the Himalaja mountains
135
There is a bad event in the Himalaja. A huge part breaks from a glacier. The ice makes a big wave of mud and water. The wave breaks many places. At least 682 people die. Almost 3.000 people are still away.
Many bridges break in Nepal. Helpers walk with pain to the small mountain towns. Some workers stay trapped in a long dark tunnel. Special teams work fast to help them. India sends nice help with flying planes. The planes bring medicine and warm blankets.
The land Nepal asks other countries for help. They need help with DNA tests. The tests show the names of dead people. Hospitals have no space for dead bodies. Smart people say: The warm earth causes bad events. The ice melts very fast in the Himalaja.
