An accident happens near North Cyprus. A ferry with about 270 people capsized. The ship tips over on Sunday afternoon. It travels from Kyrenia to Turkey. The ship fills with water fast. The captain sends an emergency call.
Many people save themselves on the ship hull. This is the bottom side of the ship. Some people jump into the sea out of fear. The coast guard is in action with boats and helicopters. Fisher boats also help with the search for survivors. 159 people are saved so far.
