The Vienna Insurance Group makes good business. The short name is VIG. In the first 6 months of 2026 the profit grows. The profit before tax is 641,5 million Euro. This is much more than last year. The income from insurance also goes up. The income is now over 9 billion Euro. The business grows very much in East Europe.
Poland and Czechia have much success. The numbers go up in Austria too. VIG buys a new company soon. The boss Hartwig Löger is very happy. He thinks 2026 is a good year. The profit will grow until December. He expects up to 1,3 billion Euro.
