Sweden has a new parliament. The result is very close. There are 2 big groups. One group is center-left. The other group is center-right. The social democrats belong to center-left. Their leader is Magdalena Andersson. She was prime minister before.
Almost all votes are counted. Center-left is in front. They have 175 seats in parliament. Center-right has 174 seats. That is only 1 seat difference. The current head of government is Ulf Kristersson. He belongs to center-right. He wants to rule again.
The right populists are called Sweden Democrats. They lose votes. That is a surprise. Many people thought: They grow very strong. They have roots in neo-nazism. Many people fear their success. The final result comes on Wednesday or Thursday. Then all votes from abroad are counted.
