King Oyo is dead. People bury him in Uganda. He was the king of Tooro. Oyo died from cancer. He was only 34 years old. He was the youngest king in the world.
He became king at the age of 3. Many people come to his funeral in Fort Portal. A special car brings the coffin to the church. It is a long Mercedes with special doors.
Later helpers carry the coffin on foot. They walk 6 kilometers to the tombs. People hold a sad ceremony in the church. Oyo helped nature and fought against HIV.
Many people argued about the new king. Now Edward Rukidi Kijanangoma is the new king. He is 56 years old. He works for television. He throws coffee berries into the grave.
This is an old ritual in Uganda. The new king asks ghosts for help. The church wants to plant 15 million trees for Oyo.
