The EU gives much money for help. It is more than 700 million Euro. Ursula von der Leyen says this. She leads the EU.
The money helps people in need. Many people flee from home. There are wars or bad weather. Prices for life rise fast.
A big part of the money goes to Africa. The EU helps people south of the Sahara. It protects poor workers there. It also helps with the return home.
The EU helps in other lands too. For example in the Middle East and in Ukraine. People need help there because of wars. They get food, homes and power help.
