Many flights stopped at big airports. Airports are places for planes. Other flights came late. Flights to Germany and Switzerland had delays. The authority ENAV says no criminals attacked the computers.
The fault started in the night. More planes flew in the afternoon. A backup system helped. A strike made the situation harder.
