There are new attacks in the Black Sea. Two ships were hit near the coast of Bulgaria. This happened on Tuesday night. Unknown people used drones for this. A drone is a flying machine without a pilot on board.
The first ship is named Chelsea 3. It belongs to a company from Ukraine. 3 drones hit the ship. The 15 sailors on board are safe now. A second ship was hit too. This ship sank in the sea. 1 person was saved from this ship.
The leader of the government in Bulgaria is named Rumen Radew. He calls the attacks very bad. There is no proof against a person yet. But Radew thinks Russia does this. The EU leader Ursula von der Leyen is angry too. She says the safety on the sea is in danger.
There were attacks last week too. Almost 230 ships were attacked since the war in Ukraine started. The Black Sea is very important for trade. Bulgaria tells the NATO now. This is a big group for defense.
