People in Israel elect a new parliament. The parliament has the name Knesset. There are 2 big groups.
The first group is the team of Benjamin Netanjahu. He is the head of the government. His party has the name Likud. They get many votes. But they have no majority.
The second group is the opposition. The leader has the name Gadi Eisenkot. His party has the name Jaschar. He also has no majority.
Many people vote in the election. Nearly 78 of 100 people go to vote. This is a record.
Politicians must talk now. This takes many weeks. If no one can build a government, new elections start in the year 2027.
