Now the high court stopped this law. Judge Alexandre de Moraes made this decision on Saturday. The court checks if the law is allowed. Bolsonaro stays in prison until then. He is there since November.
Other people could also profit from the law. These are supporters of Bolsonaro. They attacked government buildings on 8 January 2023. They did not accept the election of President Lula.
