Hungary stopped these punishments for a long time. Now Hungary has a new government. The leader is Peter Magyar. The government agrees to the punishments on Monday. The EU sends a signal against violence.
Israel criticizes the EU decision. The minister Gideon Sa’ar finds the punishments unfair. He says: Israel has a right to build settlements. Settlements in the West-Jordan-Land are forbidden by Völker-Recht.
