The airline Lufthansa has big worries. There is too little Kerosin. Kerosin is fuel for planes. The problem gets worse in 3 days. There is not enough fuel at the airports.
Carsten Spohr leads the firm. He plans for an emergency. Up to 40 planes stay on the ground. This is called Grounding. Old planes stay on the ground first. These planes use much fuel.
A war in Iran is the reason. The price for fuel is high. Lufthansa expects costs of 1.5 billion Euro. Flights stop in July or in winter. The firm wants to save fuel.
