Trump gives many reasons for the Zölle. He says: Canada treats products from the USA badly. This applies to cars, alcohol and milk products. He uses a very old law for this. It comes from the year 1930.
The new rules start on 19 August. Many things become more expensive then. This includes hockey sticks, wine and cement. Furniture and clothes are on the list too. Energy products are not on the list.
