There is a new study in Austria. The name is Youth Monitor. The study shows a problem. Many young people have little money. This affects people from 16 to 29 years. Nearly every second person saves on food. 30 percent of the young people struggle to live.
Money is important for education. Many poor young people cannot study. 44 percent stopped school or a course. They had no money for this. Rich young people do this almost never. This is unfair for the future.
Money also brings happiness. Money also brings safety. 82 percent of rich people like the future. Only 38 percent of poor people feel this way. Many people have fear or are sad. The Workers Chamber demands help from the state. We need better rules for rent and work.
