The government plans spending of 555.4 billion Euro in 2027. This is much money. The ministries must save money. Each department spends 1 percent less money. Only defense and work get more money. Boris Pistorius and Bärbel Bas get more money.
The state also takes new debt. Debt means: The state borrows money. This money is for the army. And it is for nature. The total new debt is 200 billion Euro. Tobacco taxes rise. People pay money for plastic soon.
The parliament discusses the plan in September. This is after the summer break. The parliament decides on the budget in winter. The plan becomes a law then.
