In Romania it rains very little. The water in the river is very low. This is a big problem for the nuclear power plant. The plant needs much water for cooling. Without cooling the plant must stop. One reactor already stops.
The army helps now. Soldiers blow up rocks in the river. They use 180 kilos of bomb material. Ships take the broken stones away. More water flows to the plant now. The minister says that the work is good.
The plant is very important for the country. It makes 20 percent of all power. If the water drops more, plants must stop. The heat makes the work very urgent. Also ships can drive better now.
