The United Arab Emirates want to spend much money in Germany. It is about 40 billion euro. The government tells this during a state visit. Sheikh Mohammed bin Sajid visits Berlin for this. He meets President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. After that, he talks with Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
A part of the money is for new data centers. The Emirates want to invest in tech too. They support industries and good jobs. This helps Germany to grow. Until now, the Emirates invest 34 billion euro. Germany is an important partner for trade.
There is news for flight traffic too. The airline Emirates can fly to Germany more often. It gets a new target. The target is the city Berlin. Until now, the airline can not land there. Now it can fly 7 times per week to Berlin.
