Netflix raises its prices in Germany and Austria. This is the first rise since April 2024. The prices rise for all subscriptions.
The most expensive subscription is Premium. It costs 21,99 Euro a month now. Before it was 19,99 Euro. This subscription offers very good picture quality.
The standard subscription costs 15,99 Euro now. Earlier it was 13,99 Euro. The subscription with ads also gets more expensive. In Germany it costs 6,99 Euro now.
In Austria the price for the basic subscription rises. It costs 10,99 Euro now. Customers paid 8,99 Euro before. The ad subscription comes there only in 2027.
Netflix also asks for more money for extra users. These are people from other homes. The fee rises up to 5,99 Euro.
Netflix is the biggest provider for films on the internet. The firm invests much money in new films. Therefore it asks the customers for more money.
