Italy plans new rules for schools. Prime minister Giorgia Meloni says this. A class has maximum 30 percent foreign children. This law helps kids learn Italian better.
The limit is for kids with weak language skills. Kids with good language skills do not count. Kindergarten kids also do not count. Too many kids in class must go to other schools.
Meloni also wants a ban on face veils in school. This means for example the burka. Parents must also learn Italian better. Critics say the problem is very small.
