The football group has the name FIFA. The FIFA earns much money at the world cup. The games are in the USA, in Mexico and in Canada. The FIFA gets 5 billion dollars. That is a lot of money. Four years ago, the world cup is in Qatar. Back then, the money is much less.
This time there are more games. There are 104 games in total. That is 40 games more than before. Many people blame the FIFA. The tickets are very dear. The prices change all the time. The FIFA also earns money from selling tickets again. They take fees from buyers and sellers.
The law in Germany and in the USA checks this. The FIFA says: There are also cheap tickets. The money helps the football. The FIFA gives the money to other groups. Official numbers come next year.
