The party NEOS has a new plan. It is about money for politicians. Ministers shall get less pay. They get less when they fail. The state must save money.
Part of the pay is safe. This is 75 percent. The rest is a bonus. Ministers get this bonus for success. State debt must not grow.
This rule is for the top government. Local governments shall join too. Beate Meinl-Reisinger leads the NEOS. She wants a new rule for money.
The rule means: Does the state save much money? Then half pays old debt. The other half lowers taxes. People have more money then.
The NEOS form a koalition. This is a team of parties. They rule with other groups. The NEOS want to talk about it soon.
Partners give no answer yet. The idea comes from the Steiermark. Now it is a goal for all of Oesterreich.
