There is much criticism of Infantino. One reason is the player Folarin Balogun. He received a red card. Donald Trump called Infantino. After that, Balogun could play again. Many people find that unfair.
A group for human rights has complained. Its name is FairSquare. It says: Infantino is not neutral. He has close contacts with Donald Trump. Infantino even invented a peace prize for him.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is now examining these accusations. Infantino also belongs to the IOC. There are strict rules for neutrality there. Fans in the stadium also booed him loudly recently.
Other associations still support Infantino. This includes Africa, Asia and South America. Therefore he could still win the election. He has no rival candidate yet.
